Reports are out claiming that Manchester City and Chelsea’s hopes of landing Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara have taken a hit, with offers from both club’s being knocked back by the Serie A club.
Italian publication Corriere di Bologna is reporting the Premier League giants have had offers in the vicinity of £14.5million refused by Bologna, who are desperate to keep the talented 18-year-old.
The player’s agent confirmed interest in his client from City and Chelsea last month.
“There is a strong interest of Chelsea,” Robert Visan told Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb.
“Also the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham and Juventus follow him [but] with them I never speak of offers, only football.”
