Interesting transfer news are coming out of Italy and it has been reported that AC Milan are confident of a deal for Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko.
Local Italian newspapers have reported that Dzeko has already agreed personal terms over a £1.8 million-a-year contract with Milan after speaking with vice-president Adriano Galliani.
It is believed that Galliani now intends to discuss a fee with Wolfsburg and for a possible transfre of the player.
It is widely believed that new Milan coach Leonardo wants Dzeko to play with Ronaldinho and Pato in a three-man attack.
Dzeko recently said to the media that Milan have always been his favourite club, right back to the days when he was still a small boy growing up in Sarajevo.
Meanwhile, Milan will use part of the £65 million raised from Kaka’s sale to Real Madrid to land Sao Paulo midfielder Hernanes.
The Rossoneri hope to see off all competition for Hernanes, though will have to make a decision about finding a non-EU place in their squad for the Brazil international.
