More transfer news are out and this time it is reported that Tottenham have missed out on a deal for Porto left-back Aly Cissokho.
It has been reported that the French star has agreed to join AC Milan for £12.75million.
Cissokho, who cost Porto just £250,000 last summer, claimed he was a target for Spurs earlier this season.
But it is believed that AC Milan have used some of the £62million they received from Real Madrid for Kaka to bolster their defence.
The Italian side have lost legend Paolo Maldini to retirement and they see Cissokho as his ideal replacement.
Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said: “The agreement has been reached thanks to the friendship of the president of Porto.”
The San Siro giants are also hopeful of signing Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko and Sao Paulo midfielder Hernanes.
