Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu has been given a reprieve by a Swiss court over the £15million he owes Chelsea.
The Court have temporarily suspended an order by the Court of Arbitration for Sport demanding the striker compensates his old club after they sacked him in 2004 for cocaine abuse.
The tribunal will decide in a few days if Mutu, now at Fiorentina, can put off paying until an appeal next month.
