Ajax ace Luis Suarez has revealed that he wants a move to European and Spanish champions FC Barcelona.
The Uruguay international forward was linked with Premier League champions Manchester United yesterday, but the player now admits that he favours joining Treble champs Barcelona.
Suarez told reporters that he is proud that the best team in the world is interested in him and that it is a recognition. However the player said that he must keep a cool head and continue to develop his talent in Holland.
The 22 year old also said that it would be a dream to play for FC Barcelona. He added that he is doing things right and working his way up to make the leap.
The player however said that at the moment he is thinking about finishing his development at Ajax, but he definitely welcomes the idea.
Suarez has so far played a total of 76 competitive matches for Ajax and scored an impressive 55 times along the way. The player also has 25 international caps to his name and has scored a total of 9 times for the Uruguay national side.
