Alex Ferguson Handed Five-Match Touchline Ban

Sensational news are out and it has been revealed that Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has been handed a five-match touchline ban.

The FA found the Scotsman guilty of improper conduct over his comments about referee Martin Atkinson after the 2-1 Premier League defeat to Chelsea.

The 69 year old will now watch the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City at Wembley from the stands, as well as much of United’s Premier League title run-in.

It is as\lso said that Independent Regulatory Commission fined the Scot £30,000 and, in addition to the clash with City, he will be banned from the dugout for games against West Ham, Fulham, Newcastle and Everton.

The sanction starts on March 22, meaning he will be able to coach from the dugout during the home game with Bolton this weekend.
