Anderlecht superkid Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he is desperate to join Premier League champions Chelsea.
Despite having the pick of Europe’s biggest clubs, Lukaku, dubbed ‘the new Didier Drogba’ dreams of playing at Stamford Bridge.
The Daily Star reported that Lukaku, now age 17, is one of Europe’s hottest properties and has been linked with a host of footballing giants including Arsenal, AC Milan and Real Madrid.
But Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti looks to have a head start in the race after photos of Lukaku wearing the current Chelsea home jersey in the Stamford Bridge dugout and press conference room were posted on Facebook.
Chelsea last night denied the trip to Stamford Bridge was organised by the club, insisting 6ft 4ins Lukaku was on a stadium tour open to the public.
It is believed that Anderlecht value Lukaku at around £10m but are determined to hold on to their prized asset as long as possible.
Lukaku fired 15 goals in 33 appearances for Anderlecht last season and already has two caps for Belgium.
