Reports are out claiming that Arsenal are still to put a time frame on a possible return for injured midfielder Santi Cazorla.
The Spanish international playmaker has been confirmed to have suffered knee ligament damage in the weekend’s 1-1 draw with Norwich City but the extent of damage is not yet known.
Various outlets are reporting that 30-year-old Cazorla will definitely miss Arsenal’s next two games – in the Premier League against Sunderland on Saturday and the crunch Champions League meeting with Olympiakos on December 9 – and could also be sidelined for much longer.
At this early stage, it has been suggested that Cazorla could be out for six weeks but the Gunners are still to confirm the length of the absence.
