Reports are out claiming that Arsenal won’t get a clear run at Accrington Stanley whizkid Josh Windass.
The Sun says he Gunners are fighting Championship sides Brighton, Fulham and Hull and League Two outfit Portsmouth for the 21-year-old son of Hull legend Dean Windass.
Arsene Wenger had the midfielder watched by a scout last Saturday as Stanley beat York 3-2 in the FA Cup first round.
Windass, who scored from the spot, is out of contract at the end of the season. The £1m-rated ace recently snubbed a new deal with the League Two club.
