Reports are out claiming that Theo Walcott is convinced Arsenal can win the Premier League next season.
The club has come through a barren period to emerge as trophy winners again, celebrating their second FA Cup triumph last month. The last time Arsene Wenger won back-to-back titles he went on to lead The Invincibles to an unbeaten Premier League title. And even if those events aren’t repeated Walcott believes something special is brewing.
“The club is going to move on from where it was,” the forward told the club website. “We had some fantastic years just before I came here and I think we are going to start to get those back, definitely.
“The fact that we always qualify for the Champions League has never changed and that’s great. But it’s been a long time coming. It’s a massive club – it always will be a big club and I think it’s getting bigger and bigger.”
