Former Gunners and Scotland keeper Bob Wilson believes that Petr Cech’s impending arrival at Arsenal from rivals Chelsea will enable Wojciech Szczesny to improve himself.
The move is expected to see Arsenal shot-stopper David Ospina depart the Emirates Stadium this summer, with Fenerbahce already having contacted the Gunners about the 26-year-old.
Wilson told Sky Sports : “David Ospina did really well at the end of the season but he is at an age where he will want to play, like Petr Cech,”.
“With Wojciech Szczesny at 24 years of age, I would hope he would look on this as a real possibility of learning more from one of the great goalkeepers of the game.”
