Reports are out claiming that former Arsenal star Paul Merson believes Danny Welbeck will embarrass former club Manchester United this season.
Merson claims Welbeck will score more goals this term than United striker Radamel Falcao.
“[Welbeck will] score more goals than Falcao, in my opinion,” Merson said. “I was shocked that he was allowed to go.
“A young English player – very shocked.”
