Reports are out claiming that Arsenal are plotting a £22million move for FC Porto starlet Ruben Neves.
According to The Sun, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to lure the 18-year-old defensive midfielder to the Emirates in the January transfer window.
It is believed that Wenger is prepared to part with £12m up front with Porto privy to a further £10m in add-ons.
Arsenal are on the hunt for a player who can sit in front of the back four following the injury to Francis Coquelin who is expected to be out for around three months but will face competition from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and West Ham United for two-time Portugal international Neves.
