Reports have emerged claiming that that Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla could be sidelined for as any as four months.
The Spanish international midfielder sustained ligament damage in his left knee during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Norwich City which was initially set to see him miss up to 12 weeks.
However, the Daily Mail understands that a more recent diagnosis of Cazorla indicates he may been the outer until April.
That news suggests the 30-year-old playmaker might struggle to play again for the Gunners this season in what is a major blow for Arsene Wenger and his side’s Premier League title hopes.
