It has been revealed that Arsenal are interested in Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler.
The Telegraph reported that the 19-year-old Germany international midfielder would be the priority but Schalke are reluctant sellers and would only consider an offer in excess of £40 million.
Having been developed by Schalke since the age of eight, Draxler became the second youngest player ever in the Bundesliga when he made his debut in 2011 and finished last season with 10 goals from midfield.
The youngster also won his first cap for the Germany national team and has been identified by Wenger as one of the best young attacking midfield talents in Europe.
