It has been revealed that Schalke defender Roman Neustädter is sparking a North London derby.
The 28 year-old stopper is off contract in June and fielding interest from across Europe.
German media sources say both Arsenal and Tottenham have been watching Neustädter this season and contact has been made with his management team.
Just last week, Schalke chief Horst Heldt declared hope of securing Neustadter to a new deal.
“Roman is fine here with us and identifies with the goals and values of the club. There is therefore no obvious obstacles to negotiations,” said Heldt.
