Reports have emerged claiming that Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy has broken down at Bordeaux.
The French international was ruled out for nearly a month with a muscular injury.
After being forced off in the closing minutes on a 0-0 draw with Nice on Friday Bordeaux have now confirmed the full-back will spend several weeks out of action.
“Tests have revealed a muscular injury,” a club statement read.
“The France international will be unavailable for a period of between two and three weeks.”
With France coach Didier Deschamps set to name his France squad for friendlies against Netherlands and Russia at the end of March in the coming weeks Debuchy is running out of time to convince his international manager he should be part of his plans for the tournament.
