Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he has faith in goalkeeper Vito Mannone to rise to the occasion against Standard Liege.
The Italian youngster will make only his third ever start for Arsenal in tonight’s Champions League clash but Gunners boss Wenger believes that the player is ready and can handle the pressure.
The Frenchman told reporters that it is a big challenge for a young boy to come into a game with such a big pressure, especially away from home.
Wenger also said that when looking at the stadium, it will be a quite difficult atmosphere.
Arsenal will be without forwards Andrey Arshavin, Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie for the match.
But Eduardo will be available after his two-match ban for diving was overturned by UEFA.
