More football news are coming from the Premier League and it has been reported that Arsene Wenger has pledged to keep hold of his Arsenal stars for next season.
This could be because playmaker Cesc Fabregas has been linked with a megabucks move to Barcelona, while Robin van Persie has attracted interest from Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
It is also believed that Inter Milan chief Jose Mourinho has also been lining up a move for Arsenal’s Togo international striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
But it is believed that Gunners boss Wenger wants to avoid a repeat of last summer when Alexander Hleb and Mathieu Flamini quit the Emirates.
Wenger also said that when Arsenal lost Hleb and Flamini last summer, the club had to rebuild.
He also added that Arsenal have done that now and the future looks bright. The manager also stressed that he does not want to have to rebuild again, so he will keep all the players together for next season.
Wenger also said that he wants to add to the squad and have identified one or two targets but admitted that identifying players and buying them are two different things.
