English Premier League club Arsenal FC are reported to be moving for Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic.
It has been reported that with Dutch striker Robin van Persie missing for the next five months with an ankle injury, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he wants a new striker in January.
But having conceded big-money swoops for Inter’s Mario Balotelli, Wolfsburg’s Edin Dzeko, Bordeaux’s Marouane Chamakh and Toulouse’s Andre-Pierre Gignac are unlikely to materialise, Wenger has turned his attention to Nou Camp outcast Krkic.
Krkic, now age 19, is believed to be desperate to quit Barcelona after dropping down the pecking order following the arrival of Swedish hitman Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Serbian-born Spanish ace, who played a big part in Barcelona’s Champions League success last season, would jump at a switch to The Emirates.
