Corriere dello Sport has reported that AS Roma director Walter Sabatini is flying out to Spain for negotiations later today.
The Giallorossi have been focused on signing the Brazilian international, whose price-tag is around €24m.
They have to make a breakthrough before August 17, when Villarreal play Odense in the Champions League preliminary round.
