Reports are out claiming that Manchester United star Ashley Young is prepared to take a pay cut in order to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
Following a torrid season last year, Young has managed to establish himself as an integral part of the United side this term and his match-winning performance in the 4-2 derby win over Manchester City served as testament to this fact.
As a result of his revival, United are looking to offer the winger an extension to his contract which expires at the end of the season.
Even Young is said to be desperate to prolong his stay at the club and according to the Daily Mail, the 29-year old is prepare to slash his current £120,000-per-week deal in order to remain a Red Devil.
