Atletico Madrid fullback Juanfran has confirmed that he rejected a move to Arsenal over the summer.
The 28 year old Spanish international signed a new deal with the Spanish club last week, but only after rejecting terms from Arsenal which would have quadrupled his previous wage packet.
“It is true that Arsenal made an offer that any player would have been happy to accept, but I’m very comfortable here.
“For me, you know, there is no better club than Atletico,” revealed Juanfran.
