Portsmouth manager Avram Grant has been fined £1,000 by the Football Association for improper conduct.
The Israeli behaved poorly towards referee Kevin Friend in the February 9 match against Sunderland by storming onto the pitch at half-time and was then sent to the stands for the remainder of the match.
Along with the £1,000, Grant was hit with a £4,000 suspended sentence until the end of the season which will come in if he is to be involved in any future misdemeanors.
A statement from the FA read: “The regulatory commission took into account his admission of the charge and previous good disciplinary record.
“The suspended fine will be activated in the event of a similar breach of FA rules.”
