It has been reported that Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera appears set to remain at Old Trafford despite reports claiming he is on the radar of Spanish clubs Barcelona and Valencia.
The 26-year-old has dropped down the pecking order at the Red Devils following the arrival of summer signings Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
However, the Daily Mail is reporting the 26-year-old is happy at United, despite seeing limited first team action so far this season.
Herrera recently told United magazine: “Last season was the first with the new staff and a lot of new players like me but, now, we have no excuses. We have to fight for everything,” Herrera said.
“We are going to try to win every game. When I see the millions of supporters we have, I just think we cannot be fourth in the league, we have to be higher.
“It’s a very exciting season and we will be fighting for everything.”
