Spanish giants FC Barcelona are preparing to closely pursue Manchester City’s Robinho in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian international winger has struggled with injury at the beginning of the current season but it is believed that the Catalan club are keen to bring in reinforcements, especially for the European Champions League.
Barcelona sporting director Txiki Begiristain confirmed that the reigning Spanish and European champions would definitely be interested in looking at Robinho.
Begiristain added that Robinho is a very interesting footballer and could play for Barcelona in the Champions League.
