Live Football Highlights & News

Barclays Premier League Fixtures 28th – 29th November 2009/2010

This week is spectacular, We have the Merseyside derby, the London Derby and in other leagues we have Barcelona v Real Madrid + Juventus v Inter Milan.

But let’s get back to the Premiership, Avram Grant will renew rivalry with Man Utd instantly as Pompey host Man Utd, and it might not be too good t=for the new boss as Utd will look to bounce back from their defeat against Besiktas and they usually do bounce back in style.

Record signing Robinho is set to make his first Manchester City appearance for three months in the encounter at Eastlands.

The £32.5 million Brazilian has not been involved for the Blues since August, after which he suffered a stress fracture on international duty in Argentina.

Somehow i feel he will be shipped out to Barcelona this january and quite rightly so as Bellamy and Martin Petrov are more than capable to fill in the hole.

Liverpool will hope that Torres has recovered and they will be featuring
Alberto Aquilani n the Merseyside derby.

Match of the Week

The London Derby takes the spot for match of the week as Arsenal young guns host the “matured” Chelsea side.

William Gallas is a doubt for this game as he has a “swollen eye” accoding to Wenger after a collision with Arshavinin the Champions League, while Kieran Gibbs is also out which means Mikel Silvestre might make an appearance.

For Chelsea they will look to welcome back Frank Lampard, Deco, Ballack and Drogba (missed last week) while Bosingwa is still out injured.
