It has been reported that Bastian Schweinsteiger is hopeful of a long and successful stay at Manchester United.
The World Cup winner joined United from Bayern Munich over the summer when signing a three-year deal with the Red Devils.
Given the fact that Schweinsteiger is already 31, many feel that the German international is only a short-term buy for United but the midfielder has gone on to state that he intends to stay at Old Trafford for the long haul, and is planning for plenty of success.
“I hope there are many more seasons to come with United,” Schweinsteiger said.
“I feel very good at the moment. We have experience in our team and we have young players with quality in the team, so if we all do our job well in the group then I think we can achieve a lot.
“I want to win titles and I think Manchester United is also used to winning titles, so that is definitely my goal. But for those type of moments, we will all have to work very hard together and always try to improve ourselves.”
