Bayern Munich’s Italian striker Luca Toni has dropped a big hint that he wants a move to Serie A side AS Roma in January when the transfer window opens.
In an interview with reporters, Toni launched a new attack on his Bayern coach Louis van Gaal by saying that he had problems with Van Gaal for over four months and that their relationship is almost over.
He went on to say that he would like to return to Italy to score those goals that earned him a place in the Italian national team. He then added that he remain the Azzurri attacker who has the most goals of all, the current leader in the list of strikers.
Toni also revealed that he has a good relationship with Roma captain Francesco Totti and it is believed that Totti has sounded out Toni earlier this season about joining him at Roma.
