Interesting footballing news are out and this time England star midfielder David Beckham has criticised the “unprofessional” conduct of Los Angeles Galaxy team-mate and USA international striker Landon Donovan.
It was widely reported that the American international had question Beckham’s commitment to the club and also Major League football as a whole.
Beckham, who has been on loan to Italian giants AC Milan for the best part of last season, has revealed that he would be seeking to talk to Donovan, saying that his conduct was unprofessional.
Beckham also added that in every football player’s eyes throughout the world it would be unprofessional to speak out about a team-mate, especially in the press and not straight to your face.
He also added that in 17 years of playing football, he has played with the biggest teams in the world and the biggest players and not once has he been criticised for lack of professionalism.
Beckham also said that it’s important to get this cleared up, and that he will be speaking to Landon over the next couple of days.
Beckham, recently recalled to the England set-up by manager Fabio Capello, added that he will talk with the USA striker but it will be a private conversation.
Beckham will be traveling to New York with his team mates for their clash with the Red Bulls on July 16.
