Reports have emerged claiming that Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has slammed speculation regarding Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Gabon national team boss Jorge Costa suggested on Saturday that he had bene asked not to select Aubameyang for their meeting with Mauritania because the striker was set to change clubs.
However, Watzke has hit back at those suggestions by making it clear that Dortmund have absolutely no intention of cashing in on the 26-year-old who scored 39 goals in all competitions last season.
“Is Aubameyang set to leave? That’s all nonsense,” he told Sport Bild.
“In all serious, even if such an offer would come in, that would be irrelevant for us.
“We are simply not selling Auba.”
Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid are all showing plenty of interest in the Gabon international.
