Scottish giants Celtic are set to swoop for Tottenham striker Robbie Keane.
It is believed that Hoops boss Tony Mowbray is seeking to offer the Republic of Ireland skipper a loan deal to cope with the enormous wages he is on at White Hart Lane which would easily outweigh anything the Glasgow giants have on their payroll.
It is believed the money men at Celtic Park are looking at ways the deal can be done and are toying with the idea of adding a view to a permanent deal in the initial loan move.
Keane has slipped out of Harry Redknapp’s first team in recent times with Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe in good form and that has spurred Celtic to try again for the former Leeds and Liverpool man.
