It has been reported that Chelsea’s first-choice keeper Thibaut Courtois has injured his knee in training.
The 23-year-old Belgium international is due to have further tests today to discover the extent of the problem but is expected to miss Saturday’s Premier League match at Everton.
It is believed he has not damaged his cruciate ligaments, however there is concern that he could face an extended period on the sidelines.
Chelsea will not give an update on the injury until manager Jose Mourinho’s press conference on Friday afternoon.
