It appears that Premier League fans will be in for a treat next season as Chelsea are believed to be lining up a move for Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
Local newspapers have reported that the Blues have all but given up on signing top target Franck Ribery from Bayern Munich and will switch their attention to the Dutch international midfielder.
It is widely believed that Sneijder’s position at the Bernabeu is in doubt after the arrival of Manchester United superstar winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
And it is now believed that Chelsea will try to take advantage to pull off a cut-price deal for the 25-year-old, who signed for £22.5million just two years ago.
Sneijder said to local reporters that he would like to stay with Real Madrid and hope hat coach Manuel Pellegrini will give me a chance but also added that there are many rumours going around.
