It has been reported that Chelsea want Edinson Cavani to drop his personal demands.
The London Evening Standard reported that Chelsea’s attempts to sign the Napoli striker are being held up by his £150,000-a-week wage demands.
The Uruguay international striker, valued at £35million, is one of the options being considered by manager Roberto Di Matteo as he looks to fill the hole left by Didier Drogba.
Juventus have also expressed an interest should a move for Robin van Persie fall through.
