Real Madrid superstar winger Cristiano Ronaldo threw a wobbler upon being substituted in yesterday’s 3-0 win over Tenerife.
Cristiano Ronaldo was substituted on the 79 minute and the winger blanked coach Manuel Pellegrini as he made his way to the home dugout. Pellegrini then went to greet the Portuguese, but was completely ignored.
This was not the first time Ronaldo has done this a similar demonstration occurred against Xerez, the only other time Ronaldo was substituted by Pellegrini.
Ronaldo however insists that he is not fighting Barcelona star Lionel Messi for the Golden Boot, but was visibly fuming over the decision to take him off with Tenerife flagging in the final ten minutes.
Pellegrini later told reporters that he does not give importance to this matter because players do not like it when they are substituted. However Pellegrini said that Cristiano Ronaldo will have to obey his decision.
