World football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he wants Wayne Rooney to follow him to Real Madrid.
The £80million Portuguese superstar said that the Manchester United striker would be a sure-fire hit alongside him in Spain.
He told local newspapers that Wayne Rooney would be a sensation in Spain and that Real Madrid would benefit from a player like Rooney.
Ronaldo said that Rooney would be brilliant if he decides to join the Spanish giants and went on to say that the Bernabeu is the ideal place for the world’s best players and there is little doubt Rooney is one of them.
Ronaldo went on to say that Rooney has all the skill and determination a player need to make a fine career at Madrid and Rooney has shown just how good he is over the last few years in England.
Ronaldo also said that there is no doubt that Rooney would be the same sort of player in Spain and that it would be lovely to see Rooney playing for Real Madrid one day.
He also said that it would take a lot for Rooney to move away from England as he loves the country and Manchester.
Ronaldo ended by saying that Manchester United is a good club for Rooney but no one knows what could happen in the future.
