Reports are out claiming that the father Wolfsburg fullback Ricardo Rodriguez admits Real Madrid are keen.
Rodriguez scored in Wednesday’s shock Champions League win.
“The whole family is very quiet on everything that has been published in recent weeks,” Jose Manuel Rodriguez stated.
“It is true that Real Madrid has a small interest in Ricardo, but time will tell what will happen. We will have to wait.”
Whilst remaining coy, he did add that he would be delighted to see his son play for Real Madrid.
“It would be a major jump in his career,” he said. “Playing for Real Madrid is the dream of any footballer.”
