Reports are out claiming that Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is a step closer to making his return from injury after resuming outdoor training with the Reds.
The England international has been out of action since injuring his knee in training several weeks ago, but has undergone extensive treatment and is gradually returning to full fitness.
The 26-year-old is yet to play for new boss Jurgen Klopp and the manager has insisted tha he will be patient with his star striker before rushing him back into the team.
The news of Sturridge successfully undergoing running exercises is a major boost for Klopp, who is looking to sharpen up his Liverpool attack.
