England international goalkeeper David James is now being linked wih a move to Sunderland.
The 39-year old former Liverpool goalkeeper is on his way out at Portsmouth after refusing to sign a contract extension and Steve Bruce’s Black Cats are now believed to be interested in making a move.
Reports yesterday confirmed that Scottish giants Celtic were set to hold discussions with the England international and now Sunderland have come in as they seek a replacement for Marton Fulop who looks set to leave the Stadium of Light.
