Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has set his sights on World Cup glory next year.
Drogba’s Ivory Coast sealed their spot at the finals with a 1-1 draw in Malawi at the weekend and the striker is believed to be desperate to put on a good performance against the world’s best teams in South Africa.
Drogba told reporters after the game that it will be a tough challenge at the World Cup.
Drogba also said that to make it to the final of the World Cup will not be easy as there are great teams like Brazil and Germany who have won the World Cup for many years.
However he said that his team-mates and himself are determined to make history and want to change the way the world sees African football.
Drogba added that he hopes that Ivory Coast be the team that is going to go to the final and win the World Cup in South Africa.
