He was said to be joining Chelsea or Man Utd and he was spotted in London house hunting but it’s looks like Borrusia Dortmund’s star Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to join Arsenal this summer.
The 27-year-old is seemingly on his way out of the German club after failing to agree a new contract.
With talks over a deal falling flat, Arsenal and Chelsea have both been linked with the Armenia international.
And according to Russian outlet SportFackt, the Gunners have held talks with Mkhitaryan’s representatives.
The player’s agent Mino Raiola has spoken to Arsenal as they try to thrash out a deal, while the north London club have also apparently begun trying to sort a fee out with Dortmund.
Mkhitaryan has just one year remaining on his contract, and the Bundesliga club are said to be hoping to sell him for around £24million.
The attacking midfielder is gearing up for potentially his final Dortmund appearance this weekend against Bayern Munich in the German cup final.
And the report claims Mkhitaryan will be heading for England after the match.
Dortmund’s No10 has even picked out a house in London to move in to while Arsenal try to secure a deal.
