Premier League news are out and it has been reported that Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Jose Bosingwa have been suspended by UEFA for the Champions League group stages.

This ban follows their improper conduct during Chelsea’s semi-final defeat by Barcelona.

It is reported that Chelsea have been fined £85,000 for the inappropriate behaviour from their staff and fans who proceeded to throw projectiles at their opposing support during the incident.

It is believed that Drogba’s punishment will see him miss out on four matches, while defender Jose Bosingwa will sit out three.

It is also reported that the pair are also said to be on a probationary period of two years, sanctioned by the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body.

A spokesman for Chelsea was reported saying that the club is considering a response.
