Chelsea and Ivory Coast international striker Didier Drogba has said that he should get more credit from opposition fans.
Drogba, widely regarded as one of the best in the world, is often the target for abuse due to his theatrical antics but the striker believes that he deserves more praise considering his value to Chelsea at both ends of the pitch.
Drogba said that he often sacrifice himself for the good of the team and that he does not look at his scoring statistics. He also added that there is no any other striker who defends as much as he does.
Drogba, now age 31, is also confident Chelsea can win major honours under new coach Carlo Ancelotti and he said that Carlo Ancelotti is highly respected at Chelsea and the players regard him as one of the team.
Drogba also went on to say that the players are very confident and relaxed as well and that the Chelsea team is solid and physically very strong.
