Reports are out claiming that Everton are competing for Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley.
The Mirror says Everton are confident their stylish brand of football will persuade Cleverley to turn down bigger offers from rival clubs to join them this summer.
Cleverley is a free agent at the end of the season, and it is believed he has already told Aston Villa he won’t be making his current season’s loan permanent.
Tottenham, Sunderland, West Ham and Hull have all followed the situation with interest, and the first three can offer the player big money as no transfer fee will be involved.
