It has been reported that Everton boss Roberto Martinez is set to return to the Spanish market for another talented youngster.
The Toffees had Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu on loan this season but the 20-year old forward is set to return to the Nou Camp this summer.
Reports suggest that it is unlikely Deulofeu will return to Goodison Park next season which has prompted Martinez to scour the Spanish top flight for more talent.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez has emerged on the radar of the Spanish manager.
The 19-year old midfielder has spent this season on loan with Rayo Vallecano and has been impressive in his 37 appearances in all competitions.
The Spanish U21 international has also been linked with a move to Arsenal.
