It has been reported that Dutch pundits are backing PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay to join Manchester United.
The Dutch international is also being linked with PSG and Bayern Munich this week.
“Depay is a fantastic player. I love his shooting technique. If you were manager at Manchester United would you buy him?” former Ajax star Jan Mulder asked fellow Studio Football pundit Jan van Halst, the ex-Twente ace.
“That depends,” he responded. “What does the team need?”
Mulder continued: “Depay will go the same way as Eden Hazard and Robin van Persie. After six months in England he will be a class better.”
Former Porto coach Co Adriaanse, meanwhile, hopes Depay makes the right choice.
“With (Louis) Van Gaal he will do much better than at Paris Saint-Germain.”
