Rio Ferdinand insists that Premier League champions Manchester United can win without top striker Wayne Rooney.
Rooney is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with an ankle sprain sustained in the Champions League encounter with Bayern Munich.
Ferdinand told repoerters that : “In games Wayne has missed recently, we’ve scored some goals. Dimitar Berbatov has come in and done ever so well.
“Rooney is a great player and has been very influential in our season so far but we know we have players who can come in and deliver.”
