It has been reported that a Manchester United League winners’ medal is set to go under auction.
The Manchester Evening News says a winners’ medal from Manchester United’s first league title in 1908 is set to sell for £30,000 at auction.
The medal, belonging to goalkeeper Harry Moger, is inscribed: “Manchester United F.C. H. Moger, League Champions, Season 1907-1908.”
It will go under the hammer on October 27 in London, and it is anticipated it will fetch between £25,000 and £30,000.
