Reports have emerged claiming that Francesco Totti has all but agreed terms over a new contract with AS Roma.
Totti’s camp and Roma directors met at his lawyer’s offices on Saturday to thrash out final terms.
The former Italian international midfielder has agreed to drop his current €4.8 million salary to €3 million, with a new three-year deal on the table which will take him to 40 years of age.
The contract is expected to be signed later this week when Roma president James Pallotta jets in from New York.
